Designated learning institutions list

To apply for a study permit on or after June 1, 2014, you will need a letter of acceptance from a designated learning institution. You need to include the Designated Learning Institution number (DLI #), which is the number that begins with the letter “O”, on your application form. All primary and secondary schools in Canada are automatically designated. They do not appear on this list. You do not need to include a DLI number on your application form if you apply at this type of school.

Hi, My niece is interested in studying a season in Edmonton. Six months or so. She is from Colombia and would apply for a student visa in Colombia. She is 17 years old and she has already finished high school. My question is if you consider that she should apply to the intensive ESL program. Thanks in advance and any other information you can help us with will be appreciated.

Hi,

She is 17 years old and she has already finished high school. My question is if you consider that she should apply to your English as a Second Language program and if you can provide us with the Letter of Acceptance in order to apply for the student visa. Thanks in advance and any other information you can help us with will be appreciated.
